Are the flowers pretty? a gift from my colleague for my recent promotion. three-year hardwork finally paid off. Without my boss, i won't be recommended for promotion this year.

Beside the flowers, i also receive an additional gift from the same colleague, a phone text. "learn to value myself" i was suprised with this text as i seldom, or not even share my problems & thoughts with her... am i too strict on myself? or i have not taken time to pamper myself since young days? :(

February was truly a month of celebration !!! dinners and parties were held anywhere!!

my dear fres, Ferryn, Lina and Daniel had celebrated their birthday in different days of Feb. Too bad, Lina cannot come down to SG for celebration. but i guess she had a great fun in KL, true or not, Lina? :P

Our long-time-no-see guests turned up for the dinner.

Although the food were not quite satisfactory, i have a great fun on both days !! Will we continue to celebrate each other bday in the future ? ~~

Wonder what will be my birthday celebration looks like? i am looking forward to it :)

Singapore Flyer

Singapore Flyer, one of the hot tourist attraction in Singapore. I never have opportunity to visit the Singapore Flyer because the entrance tickets are super expensive. it is SGD29++ per person. No discount has been given since its grand opening in year 2008.

My sister's bf has given me one pair of tickets as my 2008 birthday gift. yet, i missed the chance again due to work commitments ?? !! i think so.. couldn't remember it anymore.. i have given the tickets to my mum and youngest sister and they have a great fun on that night.

Today, i finally took a Singapore Flyer Ride. Nothing special but the nightview is great. i can even see the indonesia limelight, not to mention the construction site of IR and Casino. wahaha. i also took a voluntary work today, taking the role of nanny, taking care od 2 children and elderly.

i will be on leave from 20th Dec to New Year 2009 ... Damn happy how ... can't wait for the holidays..but condition adhered to.... return to work on 2nd day of CNY.. well.. no choice .. i am the one staying nearest to SG.....:( ... can i move to KL too??

Had a great fun in HK and LW's wedding.. it had been such a long time for girls to gather ogether .. well, as usual, someone msged u with blah blah blah excuses for not attending the wedding dinner or gathering... .....

I never treasure my life so much until i experienced the loss of my granny, aunt and the tragedy happened to the friends around me.

It even put me into reflection when i came across the cancer fighting journey shared by a group of bloggers. Diagnosis of breast/ovarian/blood/ ++ cancer at young age is completely a bad news.. they still have to go through the chemotherapy and unbearable pains/side effects caused by the cancer treatment. ...... hair loss, vomiting and so forth..... i couldn't imagine how they could bear with all these side effects .....

Reading their blogs make me treasure every moment of my life.. Don't u ?

Bad Dreams

I have bad dreams again......

In the dream, i was pregnant and prepared to give birth...Everyone told me the baby was too small and might died in the stomach... but i lost the way to hospital...~~

Kelong Trip

My dear friend, Audi, interested in Kelong fishing. She managed to found one kelong in Mersing, Malaysia, and told me that it would be an eye-opening experience to me, an orang asli (PS never spend my day in kelong, kukup terrace house is not KELONG) from Kluang, Malaysia.

Uncle Heng, the driver, a happy-go-lucky guy sent us to the jetty, Tanjung Leman. We took the boat to the destination, HotBoysFishing, being the largest kelong in Mersing. (http://www.kelongfishing.com/) Don't underestimate this little kelong. It could cater to more than 100 visitors !!

I picked up fishing skill from Uncle Heng and Audi. It was so fun and not bored !!! It's totally different from other people's said. Let's see the photos taken during the two-day trip !!

last sat, i went out with my dear poly-friends, nana, kang kang, daniel and avril... We were having a early birthday celebration for our lovely gal, AvRiL...

who said singapore is bored? .. no.. it's totally wrong.. look at us.. we hang out at orchard- paragonz (the brand conscious fres would like to shop for some branded stuff..hehe.. haih~~ when could i afford? :P ) and clark-quay, the nightlife heartlands...

i was terribly sick and my voice was comparable to anita mui's sexy sounds...wahaha.. i end up losing my voice on monday and took MC on tuesday ... wahahaha... feeling better now ...

Finally, i am on two-day MC from today onwards... i have been thinking to take mc since 1 Jan 2008... however, the flu virus doesn't seem to like me ... or i am too strong ? .. wahaha....

Nobody would like to fall sick..so as me... i don't like it at all... all i want is to have a BREAK !! BREAK!! BREAK!! friday and saturday are not never enough for me to rest ... this week shall be a short working week to me.. cos i will be taking leave on this friday for the Malaysia's election.... as malaysian, i should exercise my vote wisely....So, vote for UMNO or opposition party?? Gonna be hot this year...

I found this draft post which supposed to be posted six months ago. Please mark up at least SGD1.00 to SGD2.00 to the prices quoted below. My living expenses went up again !! All thanks to the rising prices in commodities and foods.

"i like breakfast very much. But no time to prepare it before work. So, i have to source for cheap breakfast around central business district. let's me rate the breakfast:

1. Chutney Sandwich (SGD2.50)

Sandwich with a special paste of different vege, a india tradisional dish, lettuce and carrot slices. The taste are refreshing and doesn't goes wrong even you keep it in fridge for whole day. Thumbs UP!!

2. Macdonald SGD2 breakfast

Pls specify you want SGD2 breakfast to cashier or you will be end up paying for a meal for more than 5 bucks. The S$2 breakfast has a choice of tea or coffee and Macburger with chicken cake and cheese. It's cheap to have burger and tea for only S$2. What i would say is the chicken is tender and juicy... but quite hard to chew the corn bread...

3. Burger King SGD2 breakfast

Like Macdonald, Burger King launched S$2 breakfast to for a slice of market. You can have a hoice of tea or coffee and scramble egg cheese burger. The scramble egg taste worst. Thumbs DOWN!!

4. Delifrance le scramble eff croissant (SGD5.20)

I used to patron delifrance to crave for croissant with egg mayo or seafood mayo. The croissant is super nice and affordable. However, the standard seems like dropping... heiya. They are trying to cut cost. the le scramble egg croissant taste as worse as burger king scramble egg . It's not suprising their outlets dissappeared from major shopping malls

5. Subway (SGD3.50 and above)

My favourite is subway Breakfast. Like their slogan. EAT FRESH!!! They outletmade their breads in the early morning and all ingredients are FRESH!! "

Chiangmai + Bangkok = Thailand Trip

It's have been two weeks since i returned from Thailand and I still hope for more holidays. Miss the poly life and secondary school times where we only concerned for studies. Having some problems with the work that nearly drove me crazy and into depression. Despite a few days of thoughts, I still couldn't find any solution. What to do ? !! :(

Let's forget the worries and talk about my thailand trip during end of year 2007. I spent six days in Chiang mai and Bangkok. The budget flight from/to Chiangmai, Bangkok and Singapore were kinda scary. Better opt for SIA if you have more $$ . life is more important. Don't One-two-go HEAVEN/HELL .. hehe

There were many night bazar in Chiangmai and Bangkok. All the things were marked up at very high price to tourists. We couldn't act like local esp our skin are fairer and not fluent in thai language.. Too bad.. So, i learned to bargain ..hehe..very happy and satisfied with all victory i bargained for..

I would highly recommend Chiangmai than Bangkok, where u can easily source for local tour package and hotels . eg. elephant farm trip, monkey farm, hilltribes, waterfall, opium farm, night bazaar and massage, cost SGD6 per hour.... i did it everydays during my days in chiangmai.... hehe

After 2-hour vodka drinking session, i finally reached home. However, i haven't had enought vodka cos i was not drunked yet. I wish to have another round of drinking session. hehe. . :)

Back to the "Welcome to Taiwan", i specially arranged for a lunch with my dearly friends on my last day in Taiwan. My friends were "jia zhen, her husband"jiu hong" and her little cute son "Yangyang". My sister and I bought him a present, Thomas & Friends !

He was so happy and proud !!

Welcome To Taiwan

This was my second trip to Taiwan. Thanks to my big boss, who sponsored us the Taiwan Trip. :) and i had a good time in Taiwan.

These are the random pictures taken during the Taiwan trip.Firstly, waiting to board the plane in Changi Airport. Am i look like celebrity?

After nearly 5 hours, we finally reached Taiwan. Bought almost every food sold in Shilin Nightmarket. eg. fried chipken cutlet, oyster egg.. I love the almond cubes ! Crispy and Crunchy

I saw rainie yang's photo printed on the packet drinks. tried to look kawaii sia....... Now i know why i can't be a superstar... failure picture...

Following with the departure of fei leng, another dear friend, xulina left us to KL a few months ago... For the sake of saving my phone bills and time for gathering [quite difficult for us to meet up] , i decided to open a new blog for them :) ....

As most people knows, my wisdom tooth was extracted last week.The dentist was so kind, he gave me 7 days MC.. wahahaha... A good rest to me :)..

But now, i fully recovered and had sumptuous steamboat just now...

The god treat my pretty good and fair. why i said so leh....cos i SPENT 500 bucks for the tooth extraction and my dear twin sister, Pavoon, lost her cybershot phone on the same day... :P .. bopian.. She has to use another phone before getting herself a new phone...hey friends, any recommendation? ...

I will be flying off to Taiwan on this thursday.... update ur guys my picture after my taiwan trip. . C ya...
